The P40 is one of Americas well known fighter planes from the World War II era. Constructed as a single seat fighter aircraft it served as an air superiority fighter, bomber escort, and fighter bomber. This warbird fought in many theaters during the war and is a legend in aviation history. TechOne Hobby has created a beautiful foam representation of the legendary P40. Ever wish your warbird had bigger control surfaces and was more aerobatic and 3D capable? Well TechOne decided to fill that niche. This P40 is constructed of strong and resilient EPP foam. The control surfaces are extremely wide and large to accommodate precise acrobatic flight. High alpha maneuvers can now be performed on a P40! Snap rolls, rolling circles, prop hanging, hammer heads, hovering, etc can now be performed with your favorite warbird. With an inch thick EPP foam fuselage this aerobatic warbird is light and nimble. Its also extremely resilient to light crashes! This Kit version comes with the foam airframe only. You have the option to add the power system and electronics of your choice to build the ultimate 3D warbird.
